The Cassidy Brothers Page 15

I squeezed his fingers. This was perfect, the four of us like this. I was just going to need a bigger bed.

“Love…you…” I mumbled. Before sleep claimed me, three voices repeated those words back to me.

  Aogán

“Come on,” Orla griped. “You have to want something for Christmas.”

I smiled and shook my head. “I have everything I want.”

“That’s no fun,” she pouted. “Christmas is in three days. This is my last chance to get you a gift.”

We were in town, doing some last-minute shopping in a general store. I was already carrying a shopping bag with her purchases for Donncha and Tristan—a new watch and a set of paintbrushes. I had used my platinum card to buy the gifts for her, which I knew she wasn’t particularly comfortable with, but she didn’t fight me on it. Much.

She finally agreed when I said I’d take it out of her first paycheck from her new junior position in the design team of The Three Bears. Little did she know, I was planning on conveniently forgetting all about that debt.

“I know,” I said. “You could just buy me a big red bow.”

“And what would I put it on?”

“Your naked body, of course.” I gave her a smirk.

“You already have me,” she said with an eye-roll, but I could tell that she was pleased.

I liked the sound of her words. I have her. She is mine.

  Well, ours.

I was still trying to wrap my head around this relationship. When Tristan first mentioned it as a possibility, everything in me revolted against it. The idea of sharing a woman with my brothers sounded wrong.

If I didn’t love Orla the way I did, I would never have agreed to try this unconventional relationship. But this, to my utter surprise, was working for us. We were figuring out how to navigate this one day at a time. There were bumps and details we had to figure out—routines, like, how we’d all make sure that we were getting enough alone time with Orla—but she was happy. So I was happy. And I believe Donncha and Tristan were happy, too.

“I’m just saying, you under the Christmas tree wearing nothing but a red velvet bow would be a hell of a gift. In fact, that’d work for all three of us.”

“Hush,” she hissed, looking around the store to make sure no one was close enough to overhear us. “Won’t your parents be there on Christmas day?”

I grimaced. There goes that fantasy. “Right. Good point.”

“Shit, look at the time. We have to go meet Donncha and Tristan for dinner,” Orla said, glancing at the phone I had bought her two days ago. She’d been thrilled to have it. I was just glad to have a way to contact her when we were apart.

“Then, let’s go. And don’t worry about getting me a gift,” I said. “I mean it. I don’t need anything but you.”

We left the store holding hands and walked the short distance to the nicest pub in town. The front of the building was made up of large glass windows, so we could see that Donncha and Tristan were already there, waiting for us. There was a full bar lining one wall and the rest of the space consisted of square wooden tables and booths. As soon as we entered, my mouth started to water from the smell of cooking meat.

Donncha and Tristan stood as we reached the table, each of them pecking Orla on the lips before we all sat together. It felt good to be back on friendly terms with my brothers. Maintaining it was crucial to making things work with Orla. It was all about the three of us being with her, but that also required putting aside jealousy and pettiness, which was not something we had always been good at.

“You get your shopping done?” Donncha asked.

“Don’t get her started,” I said.

Orla slapped my arm. “I haven’t been able to find something for Aogán yet,” she explained. “He seems to think it’s funny.”

“Oh, you know Aogán, he’s always been difficult to please.”

“Maybe I’m just more complicated than you are,” I retorted. Donncha rolled his eyes exaggeratedly.

Orla laughed. I felt a prickling awareness that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Looking around, I saw a couple that appeared to be in their fifties at a nearby table staring at us with disgust.

I expected this. Judgement from others was something that had been on my mind a lot the last few days. I was used to being in the spotlight, being CEO of The Three Bears. It seemed that there was always someone who wanted a piece of me or my brothers. Eventually we would have to deal with the world finding out about Orla and giving their unwanted opinions. Ireland had become more progressive in recent years, legalising same-sex marriage and abortion, but polyamory was still taboo.

I openly glared at the couple, daring them to say something. They quickly averted their gazes, whispering to themselves. I tuned back to the conversation at the table just as the waiter came over to take our orders.

I picked the first thing on the menu that caught my eye—a steak, medium rare, with greens and mashed spuds on the side. When the waiter left, we fell into easy conversation about the upcoming holiday.

“…but what about after Christmas?” Tristan asked. “Has anyone thought about that?”

“What do you mean?” Donncha asked.

“Well, we’re supposed to go back to Dublin after the new year. Should we discuss what happens to us then?”

“Orla can move in with me,” I said, because it felt like the most natural thing in the world.

“With you?” Orla asked, looking surprised.

I nodded. “There’s plenty of room at my place.”

Donncha frowned. “She should move in with me. Your place is barely furnished, Aogán. You just use it for sleeping. That’s hardly a home for Orla.”

“I’m right here, guys,” Orla said, rolling her eyes.

“Your apartment is a bachelor pad,” I scoffed at Donncha. “Hardly a place for a woman to live. Plus, I’m within walking distance to work. And Orla doesn’t drive.”

“I can hear you, you know,” Orla said.

“She doesn’t drive…yet. But she will and I’ve two garages.”

  “I can buy furniture.”

“I can redecorate. In fact, I’d let Orla redecorate.”

“Stop it, both of you,” she snapped. “Orla can decide what Orla wants to do.”

I blinked at her. “You…don’t want to live with me?”

“She wants to live with me,” Donncha cut in, and Orla shot him a look, causing him to shut up.

“I want to live with all of you,” she said.

“Then we should consider an arrangement like the one we have here,” Tristan said in his quiet, thoughtful voice.

“You mean, we should all move in together?” I asked.

  “It’s a thought,” Donncha said.

We discussed it some more over the meal, throwing options on the table. We hadn’t necessarily settled anything by the end of our meal, but I was sure we’d figure things out. We had so far. At the end of the day, I knew we three boys loved Orla so much that we’d give her whatever she wanted.

We left the restaurant and went back to the house after our meal. Orla’s appetite was increasing, and she had started complaining that her pants felt too tight. I hadn’t noticed any weight gain, but I imagined her baby bump would soon start to show. Sometimes at night, I’d hold my hand against her belly and imagine it swelling under my palm. I didn’t care that the child wouldn’t have my DNA, I would be his or her father.

When we got back to the house, Orla hurried up to her room to hide the gifts she’d bought. Tristan and Donncha joined me in the living room. I pulled my laptop into my lap while Donncha turned on the news.

  “What the fuck?” Donncha exclaimed.

Looking up from my computer, I saw Orla’s face on the television screen, a fist squeezing my heart. “Turn that up,” I said.

“Orla Walsh is an eighteen-year-old woman who went missing from Galway four weeks ago. She is described as being five feet, seven inches tall with red hair and green eyes
and weighing around one hundred twenty pounds. Orla’s foster father has been looking for his daughter nonstop and is now reaching out to the public for help. Please, if anyone sees her, call the number on the screen.”

Shite. I knew we’d have to deal with Channe eventually. I didn’t expect it to be this soon.

  Orla

I felt numb as the guys told me about the news report they’d seen. I was a missing person. The police were looking for me. Channe was looking for me.

I knew that he would. When I first left him and came back to this place, I had been afraid that he was trying to track me down. I’d never spoken to him about the Cassidy family. So even if he came by my old address, I was sure that he wouldn’t know to look for me here.

I never thought he’d go to these lengths. He must have filed an official report if it was on TV like this. Eventually, someone would see me. I’d be found.

The thought made a tremor race down my spine.

“Orla, look at me.” I blinked and realised that Donncha was standing directly in front of me, his hands on my shoulders, a look of concern on his face. “Breathe, baby.”

“You okay?” Aogán asked from my side.

I shook my head and felt the stinging of tears in the back of my eyes. I didn’t want to be weak, but I was scared. If Channe managed to get me back, I knew he’d never let me go again. If he found out about my baby—his baby—what would he do?

“We’ll never let anything happen to you,” Aogán said. “Never again.”

I wanted to believe that, but life wasn’t always that simple. If the Garda showed up to take me because I was a missing person, the brothers wouldn’t be able to stop them. My only hope was to be taken off the missing persons list.

“I’ll call Talia,” I said, clinging to the idea of fixing this. “She’s one of the only friends I had back in Galway.”

Channe tried to keep me as isolated as possible, but I had to attend school. That was where I met Talia.

“Why would you call her?” Tristan asked.

“I’m only a missing person because no one knows where I am or what happened to me. If I tell Talia that I’m okay, they can call off the search.”

Tristan looked unsure but didn’t argue against my reasoning. So I pulled out my new cell phone and punched in one of the few numbers I had memorised. Stepping over to the living room window, I looked out at the yard while the phone rang.

“Hello?” Talia’s voice was cautious as she answered, clearly not recognising the phone number.

  “Talia? It’s me, Orla.”

“Oh my God, Orla! Where are you? Are you okay? Your dad has been so worried.”

“He’s not my dad,” I corrected. I couldn’t stand the thought of that man being referred to as my father. “And don’t worry. I’m grand.”

“That’s it? You’ve been gone for nearly a month and all you can is that you’re grand? Where are you? People thought you might’ve been kidnapped.”

“No, no, no. Nothing like that. I left on my own.” I left out my reasoning. Talia didn’t know about the abuse I’d suffered while with Channe. I’d been too terrified of what he might do if I told anyone. “I’m staying with some friends.”

  “Who?”

  I hesitated.

“Please, Orla. I need to know you’re safe,” she pressed. The anxiety was clear in her voice.

“I went back to Wexford County. I’m spending Christmas with my old neighbours.”

“Those brothers you used to talk about? The Connollys?”

“The Cassidys,” I corrected. “Yeah, it’s them.”

  “So…you’re really okay?”

  “Yes,” I said confidently.

“Good. I’m so glad you called. You sound really happy.”

  “I am.”

We ended the call, promising to keep in touch.

All the guys were watching me closely as I hung up. I smiled. “Everything should be okay now. She knows I’m okay.”

I walked over to the chair by the fire, let out a sigh and collapsed into it. Tristan came over, standing behind the chair and putting his hands on my shoulders. He started to massage the taut muscles there, his long fingers working magic as he worked his way down my back. I closed my eyes and let out a low moan as relaxation washed over me like the warmth from the fire.

Fingers brush across my cheek. My eyes opened to meet Donncha’s blue orbs as he kneeled in front of me. Leaning forward, he kissed me, his tongue entering my mouth. It felt like claiming. I loved it. I wrapped my arms around his neck and opened my legs so that he could get closer.

Donncha pulled me out of my chair, handling me as if I weighed nothing as he laid me out on the rug in front of the fireplace. The dress I was wearing was loose and flowy, easily pushed up as his hands ran up my thighs, touching, but not lingering the way I truly wanted. He was teasing me.

Behind him, Aogán and Tristan unbuttoned their shirts, sliding them off and letting them flutter to the floor at their feet.

“You wanna try something new, ginger snap?” Donncha asked, a wicked glint to his eyes.

My breath hitched. The three of us had been having wild sex for days. They had opened my world up to pleasure and passion that I hadn’t known existed before. I trusted them—all of them—so whatever they suggested, I was likely up for it. I’d loved everything they’d done to me so far. “Like what?”

“Do you think you can take two of us at once?”

“What do you mean?” I asked.

Donncha had my dress up around my hips and was pulling my panties down my legs. “I mean I want to take your ass,” he said bluntly.

Heat spread over my cheeks and chest, and I knew I must be blushing. “I’ve never…I mean…won’t it hurt?”

“It shouldn’t if you relax,” he said, pulling a small plastic bottle out of his pocket, “and if we use this.”

I swallowed thickly, but before I formed a reply, Donncha had his face between my legs, licking and sucking. I gasped and reached down, shoving my fingers into his hair and pulling him even closer. I was getting to know what each of them liked, what got them going. Donncha’s lust was ratcheted up by boldness on my part. He told me it was sexy as hell when I took what I wanted.

“More,” I begged. Looking up, I saw that Aogán and Tristan had stripped naked. The light from the fire’s flames danced over their skin, casting shadows and highlighting the curves of their muscles.

Tristan sat in the chair I had just been sitting in, lazily stroking himself while he watched me writhe in pleasure on the floor. Aogán came to my side, and I waited for him to tell my what he wanted. Aogán liked to be in control, to give commands.

  “Grab me,” he said.

I took ahold of his massive erection. My hand looked so small as it wrapped around him.

“Stroke me, long and slow, baby. Fuck, yeah, just like that. Such a good girl.”

I loved being Aogán’s good girl.

Donncha slid a finger inside of me, sliding it in and out, making me moan. But he quickly took it out of me. I lifted my head.

“What are you—” My words cut off when a surprised yelp left my lips. Donncha’s finger had moved down, swirling wetness around my virgin hole as he licked my clit. Instinctively, I tensed.

“No, baby,” Donncha said. “You need to relax. Trust me.”

Releasing a breath, I forced myself to do as he said. Tension bled out of me, as he resumed sucking on my sensitive button, playing with my asshole until he was able to push his finger inside.

I winced. Not because it hurt. But because it felt…foreign.

“Stop thinking,” Aogán said. “Just let yourself enjoy this.”

I closed my eyes as Donncha’s talented tongue and fingers worked me into a frenzy of need. The pleasure blooming from the front and the back. God, this felt unbelievable.

“More,” I found myself begging, bucking my hips up.

I opened my eyes to find Donncha’s wicked grin. He added another finger, str
etching me wider. There was a slight sting, but it faded quickly. There was something lewd about this, being penetrated in this way. But I rejoiced in it, trusted in it, my moans becoming louder as an orgasm built up inside me.

“Oh God,” I moaned, “I’m going to—”

  “Stop,” Tristan said.

Donncha pulled away from me completely, making me whimper. Tristan smirked at my glare before covering me with his beautiful naked body. He kissed me hard, making me moan into his mouth. I found myself grinding my pussy against him, desperate to come.

He chuckled, rolling us until he was on his back with me straddling him.

  “Ride me,” he said.

The ridge of his erection slid through my wet folds until I felt him lined up at my pussy entrance. I slowly sank down, taking him one inch at a time, so slowly. This was what got Tristan going. Slow and steady, drawing out pleasure until it was almost torture, then finally giving in to it. My loud moan filled the room as he was fully seated within my body.

I leaned forward so that I was braced with my hands on either side of his head while I set an unhurried pace, rocking back and forth on top of him, knowing that I was giving the other two men a hell of a show.

“Orla,” Donncha stood in front of me, his legs out wide so his thick length was inches from my face. I knew what he wanted me to do. Opening my mouth, I took him inside, pressing my tongue against the underside as I did. His fingers tangled in my hair as he groaned. “Fuck, that’s it, ginger snap.”

Behind me I heard the unmistakable sound of the top popping off the bottle of lube behind me. Nerves erupted in my belly, but there was also primal urging within me. I wanted to have both of my holes filled. I wanted to be claimed. To be owned.

I stilled as I felt Aogán’s wet lubed fingers tracing around my asshole. I shivered and tensed around Tristan’s cock.

“Relax,” Tristan said, his hands tracing over my thighs.

“I won’t hurt you, baby,” Aogán whispered as he replaced his fingers with the tip of his erection. “Do you trust me?”

I nodded—I trusted him with my life—and inhaled deeply, feeling my entire body relax. Aogán leaned his body over mine, pressing kisses to my shoulder blade, as he slowly worked the blunt tip of his erection into me.
